IndianOil currently controls ten of India’s twenty refineries. The group refining capacity is 60.2 MMTPA or 1.2 million barrels per day gives it the largest share among refining companies in India. It accounts for 33.8% share of national refining capacity.

In 2007, HDO was awarded for Wastewater treatment and re-cycling plant by IOCL for their Haldia Refinery on turnkey basis. This is biggest recycling plant using Reverse Osmosis Technology in any refinery in India.

The plant comprised of:

• Oil Skimmer (API)
• Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF)
• Bio-Tower
• Filtration
• High rate contact type clarifier
• Reverse Osmosis plant

The plant was successfully commissioned and handed over to the client in June 2009.

Accomplishments:

• This is one of the biggest RO DM plant in a refinery in India and the biggest RO DM Plant for a refinery for HDO
