HPCL Mittal Energy Ltd. - Complete Water Management
HMEL is a joint venture formed between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL) and Mittal Energy Investment Pte. Ltd, Singapore. HMEL is building a Grassroot oil refinery of 9 MMTPA at Bathinda in Punjab, called Guru Gobind Singh Refinery Project. The project is expected to be completed in 2011.Hindustan Dorr-Oliver has been awarded the complete water management for this Greenfield refinery project on lump sum turnkey EPC basis with aggressive completion deadline of 17 months.
This project includes:
- 130 MLD Raw Water Treatment Plant
- 12 MLD Effluent Treatment Plant - HDO will integrate all concurrent innovative technologies:
- Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR)
- Membrane Bioreactor (MBR)
- Sludge Bio-remediation
- Volatile Organic Control (VOC) treatment
- 21 MLD RO based DM Plant
Accomplishments:
- First complete water management LSTK project for HDO
- HDO also bagged another prestigious order from HPCL- Mittal Pipelines Ltd. for crude oil terminal treatment facility at Mundra. Value of this project is INR 9.9 Cr
