HDO has an excellent track record in Mineral Beneficiation Industry in India. We have come a long way from our first supply of Rako Classifier to Kolar Gold Company in 1942, to setting up complete processing plants on a turnkey basis.  HDO has made major contributions in Bauxite, Iron, Uranium, Copper, Lead, Zinc and chrome ore processing through its proven solid-liquid separation technologies.

HDO recently completed work on India’s largest Greenfield Alumina Refinery of capacity 1.4 MTPA for Vedanta Alumina Limited at Lanjigarh, Orissa. The project included Settler and Washer, Milk of Lime and Hydrate Seed Thickener Packages on turnkey basis. For the first time in India, HDO used the Deep Cone Settling technology in any Alumina Refinery resulting in lower reversion losses and better Alumina recovery for the refinery

Chromium

HDO has in-house process know-how and technology to set up the complete chrome ore beneficiation plant, from ore handling to final product delivery. We executed the complete chrome ore beneficiation plant for Orissa Mining Corporation's Greenfield project at Kaliapani, Orissa.

Iron and Steel

HDO supplies Hydrocyclones, Thickeners, Flotation Cells, Filters, Scrubbers, Classifiers and other related equipments to iron ore processing plants for clients like NMDC, KIOCL, TISCO, SESA GOA, ESSAR, etc.

Coal

HDO supplies Complete Process Engineering for Coal Washeries and equipments like Thickeners, Floatation Cells, Disc Filters, Drum Filters and Slurry Pumps to clients like TISCO, Jindal Steel and Power, Central Coal Fields, Coal India, Western Coal Fields, etc.

Copper, Zinc and Lead

HDO supplies equipment like Flotation Cell, Disc Filters, Drum Filters and Thickeners to most plants in India. We can also supply the complete beneficiation plant on turnkey EPC basis. Our clients include Hindustan Copper Limited, Hindustan Zinc,Binani Zinc, etc

Other

We supply equipments and systems for Sand Beneficiation, Sand sizing and Washing. Our clients include BHEL, BILT, Mangalore Minerals, Asahi FloatGlass, Defence Ordinance Factories, etc.

Uranium

HDO has made major contribution in the area of uranium ore processing and has been associated with Uranium Corporation of India Limited from the very beginning. We supplied equipment to their first plant at Jaduguda. We later provided the complete process engineering and some major equipment for the 3000 TPD Greenfield mill at Turramdih, Jharkhand.
